From Chaos to Clarity
My journey into fitness and longevity didn’t begin in a gym — it began in survival mode.
I grew up with undiagnosed ADHD, was expelled from school, arrested for petty crime, and dishonourably discharged from the army at 17 after being found with drugs on camp. For years, addiction to cannabis and cocaine kept me stuck, lost, and unsure how to change.
The Turning Point
Everything shifted when I joined The Coventry Jets American football team while working my first long‑term job in a warehouse.
The structure, discipline, and brotherhood pulled me away from drugs and gave me purpose. But a serious knee injury ended my football career overnight.
Lying in a hospital bed, I set myself a new challenge: triathlon — despite barely being able to swim.
Within a year, I completed the Great North Swim in Lake Windermere. That moment proved something powerful:
Change is always possible.
After ten years in the warehouse, I followed my passion and qualified as a personal trainer in 2011.
Still battling cannabis addiction, I turned to hypnotherapy — and it worked instantly. That breakthrough inspired me to qualify in NLP and Hypnotherapy, so I could help others break their own cycles too.
In 2013, I launched my first Bootcamp with one mission:
To help people transform their lives through better health choices, fitness, mindset, and community.
What began as Bootcamp FM has grown into something much bigger.
As my knowledge deepened and my passion for longevity expanded, I realised people needed more than workouts — they needed a blueprint for a longer, healthier, happier life.
That’s why Bootcamp FM evolved into Live Beyond 100 Years (LB100Y):
a holistic longevity movement inspired by the Blue Zones and built around four pillars:
We’re no longer just a fitness class.
We’re a community built for lifelong vitality.
I’ve recently qualified as a Functional Medicine Practitioner, deepening my understanding of how the body works so I can help people:
One of the most meaningful parts of my journey has been becoming a mentor at a local high school.
Supporting young people — especially those who feel lost like I once did — reminds me why this work matters. Helping them build confidence, resilience, and belief in their future is one of the most rewarding things I do.
